Hello, family and friends!
We are so excited to share our journey with you as we prepare to celebrate our love!
We started our journey together in 2012, just out of high school, while studying for our Bachelor of Arts at Wits. Our friends saw something special in us and encouraged us to get together, and we’re so grateful they did!
Over the past 12 years, we’ve embarked on countless adventures together—from exploring new countries and settling into our second flat, to family holidays and living in different provinces. We've celebrated such happy moments, danced through parties, and taken on the cherished role of becoming godparents.
Our relationship has not only been filled with laughter and pure joy, but also with resilience. We’ve supported each other through the loss of loved ones, navigated the ups and downs of university life, and cheered each other on through late-night study sessions and challenging degrees.
As we prepare to take this next step in our lives, we’re excited to have you all by our side to witness and celebrate our love story.

Join us for our very special celebration as we, Dylan and Genna, unite in marriage on the 22nd of March 2025, at Black Horse Brewery in Magaliesburg. On behalf of our parents, Brian Hewitson, Glenda Hewitson, Duncan and Vanessa Mason, we are thrilled to share this celebration with you all. Our wedding ceremony will begin at 14:30, taking place in the chapel, surrounded by our dear friends and family. Please start taking your seats by 14:00.

We are delighted to introduce our cherished bridal party and support team, beginning with our beloved parents whose unconditional love and guidance has made this day possible. Their support, sacrifices and ongoing encouragement has shaped us into who we are today. We are so grateful for the values they have instilled in us and without them, our beautiful celebration of our love story would not be possible. Thank you for your generous contributions. Our siblings have been an integral part of our lives, and we are so honoured to include them and their partners in our celebrations. Their presence, input and support adds even more love to our very special day. Alongside our family, we have gained a phenomenal group of friends who have walked with us through every stage of our journey and impacted our lives in a profound way. Each friend has played a unique role in our journey and has grown with us as individuals. From the playful days of junior school to the transformative years of high school. We are so grateful for your endless and profound impact. We have also met some of our best friends who we have shared unforgettable moments with at all the various levels of our university degrees. They have not only enriched our personal experiences but have made a massive impact on our lives as a couple. Together, this extraordinary group embodies the love, happiness, and deep connections that have enriched our journey. We are so thankful to have them with us as we step into this new chapter, surrounded by those who mean the world to us.

Our Officiant!
We are deeply honored to have Dyl's beloved grandpa officiate our wedding. We couldn’t imagine anyone more special to guide us through this beautiful ceremony, making it all the more meaningful. Thank you, Grandpa Ray, for being such an important part of our journey!

GETTING THERE
TRANSPORTATION
Black Horse is located about an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, and we strongly recommend that guests consider staying overnight to fully enjoy the celebration without the rush. For those planning to return to Johannesburg after the festivities, please be cautious and ensure you have a safe travel plan, as the roads may not be well-lit. We want everyone to have a wonderful time, so please plan accordingly!

For those traveling to join us, there are several accommodation options available along Blackhorse Road (BH). We highly recommend Magalies Manor, who have generously reserved 32 rooms for our wedding guests. To secure a booking, please contact them directly. Additionally, you may consider other lovely options such as De Hoek, Vally Lodge & Spa and Mount Grace. We hope you find a comfortable place to stay as we celebrate this special occasion together!

We absolutely love your little ones but unless your child has been personally invited by us, it is an adult only wedding. Please arrange a baby sitter for your little ones and come celebrate with us.
Unfortunately we are extremely tight on numbers as our venue can only hold a certain amount of guests. So unless your partner was personally invited by us, we do not have the capacity to extend invites. We are so sorry!
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’ll have a professional photographer capturing the moments!
Yes, there will be parking available but please do not drink and drive. There are some lovely accommodation spots in the area and we strongly recommend that you explore this as an option.

ASAP! The Magaliesburg area is known for their weddings and it is a long weekend, so please book asap as not all the places allowed us to block it out.
Absolutely. The reception hall closes at 12am however we have made arrangements for the party to continue until our hearts are content, so please come join us!
